NCGOP Calls On Cal Cunningham To Take Down Blatantly False Ad

Raleigh, N.C -  Yesterday, Cal Cunningham released his first general election television ad, in which he knowingly lies to the people of North Carolina. Cunningham's claim in the ad that he "refuses corporate PAC money" has already been found to be false by independent fact checkers. NCGOP Chairman Michael Whatley is now calling on Cunningham to take down his false ad.

"North Carolinians deserve to have a leader not a liar serving them in the Senate,” said NCGOP Chairman Michael Whatley. “Cal Cunningham should show some respect for the people he wants to represent and take down this false ad, which is just another failed attempt to distract voters from the fact that he would be another rubber-stamp for Chuck Schumer’s liberal agenda.”
