The RNC has announced NCGOP's Robin Hayes has been selected to serve as Chair of the State Chairmen. Hayes will serve as the key liaison between the RNC and state party chairmen. He will assist new state chairs succeed in their roles, and work to foster best practices and collaboration between states and the national party.
"Robin has done a terrific job in North Carolina, and his exceptional qualifications will help us continue to grow and build our state parties..." said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

During the last election Republicans took control of the council of state for the first time, elected a super majority in the state legislature, and cast all fifteen electoral college votes for President Trump.
