Does Cal Cunningham Agree With Durham’s Efforts To FUND The Police?

Raleigh NC - Last week, the Durham City Council broke with the national trend and actually INCREASED funding for the police. The move by Durham’s city council has been met with hostility from activists who later took to the street to paint a mural to demand city leaders “Defund the Police.”  As the protests move from the streets into the political process, politicians on all levels have to decide if they will stand with law enforcement or cave to the mob. Just this week, Cunningham already caved to mob and joined in their demand to remove historical monuments.
