Cunningham Ducks Tara Reade Questions For A Second Time In A Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - Last Thursday, Cal Cunningham “didn’t respond to a request for comment” from the Washington Times when asked about his silence on Tara Reade’s allegations that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her. Less than a week later, Cunningham is again ducking questions on the subject. The former “#MeToo advocate” refused to reply to Real Clear Politics about whether he believes Reade’s allegations are credible and should be investigated. 

“Cal Cunningham’s consistent hypocritical silence on Tara Reade’s allegations is disgusting,” said NCGOP spokeswoman Sasha Duncan. “Members of the North Carolina press should stop protecting Cunningham and find out why he only believes women when it is convenient for his political aspirations.” 

Not a single North Carolina media outlet has asked Cunningham about Reade’s allegations, which have been public for 400 days.
