Will Cal Cunningham Get Tested For COVID 19 After Protesting?

RALEIGH NC - Cal Cunningham recently tweeted pictures of himself marching in a protest in downtown Raleigh. Cunningham attended a mass protest violating the current executive order barring mass gatherings. The NCDHHS recommends that anyone who attends a protest should get a COVID 19 test. Governor Cooper very publicly proclaimed that he would be getting a COVID test and promised to release the results. 

“Cal Cunningham should follow the current guidance from public health officials and get a COVID 19 test,” said NCGOP Press Secretary Tim Wigginton. “After publicly violating the restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of COVID 19, Cunningham should publicly share his test results to assure the people around him that he is not infected.”
