Press Release: NCGOP Statement on Anti-Semitic Planks Adopted by NC Democrat Party

The blatantly anti-Semitic planks recently adopted by the N.C. Democrat Party are shameful and deserving of the strongest condemnation. Sadly, such an embrace of ant-Semitism is indicative of just how radical this Democrat Party has become. These official party positions are dangerous as they explicitly demonize Jews and Israelis while serving to embolden anti-Semitic actors at a time of elevated tension.

“The anti-Semitic, anti-Israel resolutions passed by the NC Democrat Party are abhorrent and offensive,” said NCGOP Chairman Michael Whatley. “The fact that neither Cheri Beasley nor any other Democratic candidate has denounced these measures shows a complete adherence to the most radical platform that any political party has ever put forward in North Carolina.”

The NCGOP calls on prominent North Carolina Democrats such as Gov. Roy Cooper, N.C. Attorney General Josh Stein (the first Jewish-American elected to statewide office in North Carolina), and U.S. Senate candidate Cheri Beasley to let the People of North Carolina know clearly whether they agree with the nakedly anti-Semitic views adopted by their Party.
