NCGOP Statement on SB 749 Appeal

The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) has issued the following statement following the appeal of SB 749 to the N.C. Supreme Court:

"We are pleased to see that the legislature's leadership has appealed the ruling of SB 749 directly to the N.C. Supreme Court. Simply put, our boards of election should operate on a bipartisan basis with transparency and consistency," said NCGOP Communications Director Matt Mercer. "It is our hope that the Court takes this appeal and is able to act in order to have a clear answer for the administration of this year's general election."
