Josh Stein Should Immediately Condemn His Key Liberal Ally's Radical Remarks

RALEIGH NC- One of Josh Stein's key liberal allies made a highly insensitive and offensive remark when speaking about the riots rocking the country. Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey remarked, "America is burning. But that's how forests grow." Her remarks come when police officers are being gunned down, small business owners are having their stores looter and justice is slowly coming. Now is the time to restore order, not find a way to exploit the crisis for a political agenda.

Josh Stein should immediately condemn his liberal ally's radical comments. Maura Healey is a Co-Chair of the Democratic Attorney Generals Association, a liberal group that spent millions getting Josh Stein elected in 2016. Josh Stein has a choice to make: will he condemn these callous comments? Or will he side with his liberal, Washington backers because they are going to spend millions on TV ads for him this fall?
