RALEIGH, N.C. - After spending his entire primary dodging questions about his stance on the Green New Deal, Cal Cunningham finally came clean about his radical environmental priorities during a recent virtual campaign event.

• “North Carolina Senate candidate Cal Cunningham, who was bankrolled by Sen Schumer’s Super PAC, admitted that he would like to see provisions of the Green New Deal present in the next relief package, during a virtual town hall”

“North Carolina families and small businesses are hurting right now and Cal Cunningham supports holding their relief hostage so his party can try to ram their unrelated Green New Deal wishlist into the next COVID-19 stimulus package,” said NCGOP spokeswoman Sasha Duncan. “While Senator Tillis is working across the aisle to provide practical solutions that protect the physical and economic health of North Carolinians during this crisis, Cunningham is only trying to exploit the situation to advance his partisan political agenda.”
