"#MeToo Advocate" Cal Cunningham’s Hypocrisy On Tara Reade's Allegations

RALEIGH, N.C. - Cal Cunningham, who has proudly attended women’s marches supporting the #MeToo movement in the past, is desperately trying to avoid addressing allegations made by Tara Reade that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her. Cunningham’s silence on this issue is in line with the so-called “women’s groups” that have endorsed his campaign, as both Planned Parenthood Action Fund and NARAL Pro-Choice America refused to respond to the Daily Beast when asked to comment on the matter. 

“His handling of Tara Reade’s allegations is just further evidence that Cal Cunningham has no core convictions and cannot be trusted to represent North Carolinians in the Senate,” said NCGOP spokeswoman Sasha Duncan. “Cunningham clearly stands with radical liberals like Kirsten Gillibrand who only care about the #MeToo movement if they can use it to attack conservatives.”

Tara Reade told the National Review earlier this week that Democrats like Cunningham who are silent on her allegations are “complicit in rape.”
