Statewide NC Democrat Wants To Defund The Police.

RALEIGH NC- The North Carolina Democrat nominee for Agriculture Commissioner became the first statewide candidate to call for defunding the police. This dangerous idea is taking off like wildfire in liberal circles. Recently, the Democratically controlled Minneapolis City Council took the first concrete policy steps toward defunding their police department, while looters and rioters are destroying their community. With Congressional Democrats jumping onto the “Defund The Police” bandwagon, we can expect this trend to become mainstream liberal doxology soon.

“Defunding the police is an incredibly dangerous idea that endangers every American citizen,” said NCGOP Press Secretary Tim Wigginton. “Now that Democratic Leaders on the national level and the state level are onboard the “Defund the Police” bandwagon, we deserve to know how many other Democrats will jump on this bandwagon.”

Cal Cunningham, Roy Cooper, and Josh Stein have all worked as trial lawyers and all three are backed by radical liberals who funneling millions of dollars into North Carolina to prop them up. Cunningham, Cooper, and Stein have remained silent on the extreme "Defund the Police" idea. North Carolinians deserve to know if they will continue to stand with their ultra-liberal backers or support local law enforcement to keep North Carolinians safe.
