RALEIGH NC - Last week, Cal Cunningham's Washington allies unveiled their secret bill without any input from House Republicans or the White House. The so-called "Hero's Act" is a liberal wish list where Nancy Pelosi and her allies have hidden a wishlist of radical liberal policy proposals including a provision providing direct cash payments to illegal immigrants. Last Friday, the Democrats took specific action to ensure in their version of the bill that illegal immigrants would receive direct taxpayer-funded cash payments.
